Speaking of Italy, arrived this week in a hotel run/owned by the family who started the fashion house “Maska”. Some fun 1970’s ads on the walls and original sketches for the line by Walter Albini. I wasn’t familiar with the line but seems it was quite popular.
Absolutely gorgeous. We just stayed two nights because we had to be in Siena for a wedding but we will certainly be back. The parents actually live in the lower level of the house, and it’s run by their two daughters.
It’s very small, which is nice. Even the eggs at breakfast come from their chickens. They also make their own balsamic vinegar.

What is the hotel? Is it worth staying at? I only know Maska from ads in Vogue Italia - I had no idea that Albini was involved! I love his sketches.
